Brandon Osterman is an independent producer and director whose body of film & entertainment work includes short films invited to a long list of prestigious film festivals, including The Director’s Fortnight exhibition at the Cannes International Film Festival as well as feature length films, commercial projects for successful international clients like Wix.com and concert videos for popular recording artists like The Naked and Famous.

Producing content for the cinema, television and web platforms, he has cultivated a strong, comprehensive set of skills as a producer, director, cinematographer and post-production artist.

He has held positions Animator, VFX Supervisor, and Post-Production Supervisor. Editing professionally for over a decade, he's built a deep well of knowledge in post-production and visual effects systems from Adobe, AVID, Blackmagic, Autodesk and many more.

In 2016 he founded the SCADFILM training initiative for the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia, where he produced a world-class lineup of filmmaking workshops and seminars hosted by an esteemed lineup of guest instructors including: Edward James Olmos, Glen Morgan, Amy Heckerling and Richard Donner that were attended by more than 2000 independent filmmakers.

In 2017 he started Indie Film Craft, a weekend filmmaking workshop program he operates in partnership with the Atlanta Film Festival, Terminus Festival and local studios, where he has trained a budding crop of independent filmmakers from “The Hollywood of The South”, Atlanta, Georgia.

He also owns and operates Indie Film Tools, an Atlanta-based production services and equipment rental company offering cinema-class cameras, optics, support, lighting, production sound, ADR, 4K editing & coloring, visual Effects and more.

He resides in Atlanta, serving as a producer, cinematographer and adjunct instructor for the Georgia Film Academy.
